BetterLesson’s New Home Page

September 14, 2010
Check out BetterLesson’s Home Page, which has changed considerably in recent days. The two main changes, including an updated design, are (1) migration of your networks to your Home Page and (2) customization of your Newsfeed.

Networks represent the real-world educator groups you belong to: districts, schools, professional learning communities and informal grade-level groups are all examples of networks. We wanted to make those networks a more front-and-center part of your experience on BetterLesson. Within a network, members can post messages, create/distribute common curriculum (Shared Resources) and search for members.

The Home Page newsfeed is customized to your profile so that it shows only your colleagues’ most recent activity. It’s now interactive, and you can comment on any content within the Newsfeed.

We welcome any ideas you have (, and are excited to introduce a few more improvements over the next few weeks and months.
