Become a BetterLesson Curator

September 1, 2012

We’re looking for a few teachers to fill an exciting new role: BetterLesson Curator

We need teachers to help us lead the charge to highlight high-quality resources on BetterLesson. It’s a low-commitment (1-2 hour/week), high-reward position. Here are some of the responsibilities you’ll have this Fall:

The BetterLesson Curator role description includes, but is not limited to:

1. Monitor a Questions topic page

  • ask and answer questions
  • vote up great answers
  • recruit colleagues to answer
  • send us feedback — what do you think would make Questions better?
2. Join our Customer Advisory Board

  • provide feedback to BL product team on a monthly basis
  • be the first to hear about and beta-test new features

3. Rate and Curate Top Resources, including Common Core-aligned resources

We’re initially looking for 4 Curators, one for each of the following subjects: Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies. If you’re interested, please contact me at chris@betterlesson.com.

Our competitive compensation package includes, but is not limited to:

  • Official BL Curator Badge (see attached)
  • BL T Shirt for you and additional shirts for your school staff
  • Seasonal Gift Packs (contents are a surprise, but we promise you’ll like them!)
  • Lots of love
There is the possibility that this position could turn into a paid role later this Fall, depending on your interest. We can provide more details once you’re in contact.
